The article describes traditional views of Telengits about Jada Tash weather stone and Tuunek whirlwind basing on folklore materials collected by the author in KoshAgach region of the Altai Republic. The author comes to the conclusion that traditional views of Telengits become a basis of folklore genres formation: oral stories and spells.
