The Representation of a Sacred Tree in the Heroic Epos of Native Folk of Siberia

The article deals with the significance of sacred tree representation for the culture of the Siberian folks. The plot invariants of the world tree archetype in the mythological worldview of the native folks have been analyzed based on the Siberian heroic or epic texts such as Yakut epos olonkho, Buryat uliger, Altai throat singing kai and Evenki heroic legends.
